October Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how are all of you? This month was great. We had Grandpa over while my parents were gone in Canada. We had a great time with him and did a lot of fun stuff.

Halloween was this month and we had a fun time decorating for it. We had to find all new places for our decorations because we just moved into this house but we still had a fun time.

Hunting season was this month so I went deer hunting with my dad. We went up near Smith and Morehouse but we didn't see a single buck. My dad thinks that all of the bucks went down onto the private land because they are more safe there. We still had a great time.

We are figuring out how to use our wood burning stove downstairs so we went to the Krohn's house to get some wood they don't use. We loaded it into the back of the ATV and I drove it back down to our house. We got the stove working and it gives us lot's of heat. We also have a bunch of coal in our backyard that we use as well.

This is the first year our Halloween costumes weren't themed. We all chose what we wanted to be so I just got a mask to wear and it was pretty cool. I used the mask in a haunted house I worked at at the top of Woodland Hills. One of the kids up there started it 4 years ago to save for his mission and it's a pretty cool haunted house. it's in the top ten haunted houses in Utah county and it was really fun to work in because my friends worked there too.

School is going good. My favorite class is P.E and our teacher for it is awesome. I've found lot's of new friends up here and we hang out a lot. I hope you all have a great fall and a great Thanksgiving.
Bye.
Love, Eric James Barnhisel
