November Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how are you? This month was great. We went to Salem pond which was fun. We took Sam and he had a great time throwing rocks.

We made pies this month and went over to our neighbors house to eat them. We made a lot and they were pretty good. They weren't that pretty though. The crusts shrank and it was more like a filling on top of a flat crust. They were still really good though.

Dad's birthday was this month and we got him a fireplace for outside. He always goes and cooks on the traeger out in the cold and now it will be nice and warm. We also got him cool rocks to put in the top of it because it is a gas fireplace so there are rocks on top and we got him a cover for it.

We went to the Buddhist temple down in Salem with our cousins. We were going to look at lights at Salem pond but we came a day early and the lights weren't on so we decided to go to the temple. We walked around the outside and saw some llamas and peacocks. It was pretty fun.

All of our cousins came over the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We got some more pies and Brandon brought home cookies from work. We had lots of fun with them.

Schools going well and I have good grades. I'm still making lot's of friends and I like going to a new school. I hope you all have a great Christmas. Bye.

Love, Eric James Barnhisel.

October Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how are all of you? This month was great. We had Grandpa over while my parents were gone in Canada. We had a great time with him and did a lot of fun stuff.

Halloween was this month and we had a fun time decorating for it. We had to find all new places for our decorations because we just moved into this house but we still had a fun time.

Hunting season was this month so I went deer hunting with my dad. We went up near Smith and Morehouse but we didn't see a single buck. My dad thinks that all of the bucks went down onto the private land because they are more safe there. We still had a great time.

We are figuring out how to use our wood burning stove downstairs so we went to the Krohn's house to get some wood they don't use. We loaded it into the back of the ATV and I drove it back down to our house. We got the stove working and it gives us lot's of heat. We also have a bunch of coal in our backyard that we use as well.

This is the first year our Halloween costumes weren't themed. We all chose what we wanted to be so I just got a mask to wear and it was pretty cool. I used the mask in a haunted house I worked at at the top of Woodland Hills. One of the kids up there started it 4 years ago to save for his mission and it's a pretty cool haunted house. it's in the top ten haunted houses in Utah county and it was really fun to work in because my friends worked there too.

School is going good. My favorite class is P.E and our teacher for it is awesome. I've found lot's of new friends up here and we hang out a lot. I hope you all have a great fall and a great Thanksgiving.
Bye.

September Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how are you? I am great. This month was lots of fun. I did cross country for school and did pretty good. It was lots of fun and I made a lot of new friends.

We wen to another RSL game in the owners suite. It was lot's of fun. We got lot's of food and watched a great game. RSL were facing the San Jose Earthquakes and they beat them. My Hawthorn soccer team also got tickets to the game and they were there. It was really nice to see them again. It was tons of fun.

There is lots to do up here in our new house. Mom always has me take Sam on four wheeler rides up here because you can ride them around everywhere up here. Its how I get to my friends houses. The church is at the bottom of Woodland Hills and they have three wards that go there each Sunday. We like going up Payson canyon to go on hikes and drives. We have tons of fun up here and there is always something to do.

School is going good. I have tons of friends and public schools are way better than charter schools. Me and my friends like going up canyons and trails up here on ATV's and dirt bikes. I'm working in a haunted house at the top of Woodland Hills and it's a lot of fun. The kid who started it is leaving on his mission this year and he made the haunted house to save money for his mission. It's really well done and it's pretty scary. I hope you all have a great fall. Bye.

August Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, This month was great. I went on a scout camp with my new ward and we did a lot of fun stuff there. We had to make boats out of cardboard and tape and me and my partners won.

Grant's wedding was this month. It was great. We went to the temple and me and my cousins waited outside for the rest of our family to come out. We had the reception the night before and we went to an art gallery in Orem. After the wedding we went to lunch at a nice place called Toscano. The food was really good and we had a great time.

We moved out this month. It was so weird to see our house empty. We had to stay in a condo in Payson for a week since we hadn't closed on our new house yet.

There was a pool at the condo complex we were staying in. We went swimming and we had a lot of fun.

The first day of school was this month. I am going to Salem Junior High and Brandon is going to the high school. I've already made lot's of friends there and I have a lot of fun classes.

The BYU vs. Utah game was this month and it wasn't very different than the last 9 years. We went over to our new neighbors house to watch and it was really fun. There were lot's of people from our ward there and we got to meet some more people.

I'm doing cross country for school right now and it's lots of fun. I have really good coaches and I've made some friends on the team. I have a good group of friends up here and we like to ride dirt bikes, go carts and four wheelers around. Our new house is awesome and we love it up here. I hope you all have a great fall. Bye.

July Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, this month was great. We went up to Beaver this month for the fourth of July. We did lot's of four wheeler rides and had a ton of fun up there. We didn't camp so we stayed in condos up there. It was a lot of fun. They had hot tubs up there as well so we spent a lot of time in those.

Were moving up to woodland hills as well. I'm really excited for it. I get to go to a new school and our new ward is awesome. We found a really nice house up there and we are moving into it on August 23rd. I can't wait.

My dad, brothers and I went up to mount rainier this month. It was super cool. The trees were super big up there. We stayed in a little cabin about a half mile from the entrance of the park for a few days and then we went and stayed in a house by the coast. We went to the beach and swam while we were staying in the house. We had a lot of fun.

Brandon and I went on a temple trip with our new ward this month. There's tons of kids in it and it was really fun. We decided to go to the salt lake temple before it closed for renovations. It's a really cool temple and it's not like the others that I've been too.

I start school next week down in woodland hills and i'm excited. I don't know a lot of people or my way around the school but I think i'll be fine. Summer's been good also. I hang out with my friends and sleep in a lot. I hope you all have a great fall. Bye.

June Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how are you? This month we went to the cabin. Sam had lot's of fun up there and I did as well. We go four wheeling up there and do lots of fun stuff. The cabin is lot's of fun.

We went to a reservoir while we were up at the cabin. One of Sam's favorite things to do is throw rocks into lakes so he stayed there throwing rocks for such a long time. He got really mad when we had to pull him away from it. It was really fun.

Fathers day was this month as well. We got dad a covering for the traeger so he can cook during the winter. We also got him a barbecuing apron as well. He cooked us some ribs and they were pretty delicious. We had so much fun.

For my birthday, my mom took me to Nordstrom Rack to go shopping since she got an $1000 shopping spree there. Dad met us there as well and when we were done we went to a pizza place downtown to eat lunch. The pizza was really good and I had a great time spending time with my parents.

Brandon made a cake for me while he was at work and it was really good. I had a couple of friends over for my birthday and we just hung out and ate food. My birthday was really fun.

I'm on summer vacation so I like hanging out with my friends. I bought a new x-box this month and I have been playing on that. I like playing sports and going swimming. I hope you all have a great fourth of July and a great summer. Bye.

May Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how are you. This month, my mom went to London with a couple of her mission companions. She sent us so many cool pictures and i'm pretty sure she had a great time there. She went to Cambridge and London.

Mothers day was this month as well. This picture is not that great but you can probably spot that i'm a lot taller than my mom. Mothers day was great. We went to church in the morning and then a little later we had a big dinner for mom which was good. I think that she had a great day.

We got off of school this month. We actually got out pretty early. We go to a charter school so they don't follow what the other schools in the school district do so we got on the 22nd of May. Brandon got out the earliest out of all of us. He got out the 10th. Summer has been good so far. I'm glad the pool is open and I like to go there.

When summer started, Brandon and I started going to gym. It's pretty fun except the part where i'm always sore after my workout. I can already start to see improvements.

On Memorial day, we went to Grandpa & Grandma Norberg's and Uncle Brian's graves. We brought flowers with us and put them on the graves. It was a really good thing to do and we had a great memorial day.

We also went to antelope island. It was really cool and we even found a cool little event going on there. We got really good old fashioned soda there that is the best I've ever had. There were tons of mosquitoes there so that was the only downside. It was still really fun.

Summer has been great so far. I'm mowing lawns so I could make money. I like to go swimming and I hang out with my friends mostly every day. I bought myself a new Xbox because our Xbox 360 is getting really old. I can't wait to go down to RSL and me and Brandon are going to start going to soccer trainings every week so we can improve out soccer skills. I hope you all have a good summer.

Bye.

We went to the puppy barn this month and we got to hold some pretty cute puppies. Mom found a golden doodle there which is the dog she really wants. It was fun.

We had a Easter egg hunt at our house this year. Me, Brandon and some of our cousins his the eggs for the little kids to find. I think we did a good job. Out party was pretty fun. We had it with my mom's side of the family so we got to spend time with them.
