December Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  This month was a great month.  It was Christmas!  We had such a fun time.  We had a ward Christmas Party at our church and I got to see Santa there.  We got to go up on the stage and sing some songs.  It was such a great party.

We also had our Ballroom Team Christmas Party.  We had some snacks and we got to do all of our dances from the year: Meringue, Fox Trot, Cha Cha, Swing and Tango.  

We also had our family Christmas party and we each got to buy a gift for one of our cousins.  We also played lots of games and got lots of fun prizes.  

It was also Christmas.  In my stocking I got watch, lots of candy and some books and a movie.  

And then we got to open our presents.  I got a LEGO set and a LEGO book from Santa and a KINDLE from my mom & dad.  That was the BEST GIFT EVER!!!  

We also got a RZR for Christmas.  I love driving it around the neighborhood.  And my friend Kade could ride in it with me.

We had a New Years Eve party.  We had tortellini and chocolate brownie waffles.  

At home I like playing on my kindle and with my LEGOs.  I really like watching movies.  I hope you have a great winter.  Bye.

November Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  This month we went down to Los Alamos, New Mexico to spend Thanksgiving with our cousins, the Sintay's.  First we stopped at Moab and saw the petroglyphs.  And we went to Burger King after.  And after that we went swimming at the pool that they had at the hotel.  It was very fun in Moab.

Then we drove 6 hours to Los Alamos.  Our cousins Miriam, Marcus, Amelia & Vivian were so excited to see us and we were excited to see them!  My uncle Steve, Marcus, dad and I went to see Big Hero 6.  We also went to the Atomic Bomb museum.  We celebrated my dad's birthday.

We also celebrated Thanksgiving.  We had a Thanksgiving feast!!  My favorite part of the Thanksgiving feast were all the rolls that Aunt Erin made ... they were delicious!!  We also had a pizza and popcorn party one night and watched "The Muppet Christmas Carol".

We also played lots of video games.  Our favorite video games to play are My Singing Monsters and Minecraft.  

We also went on a hike and our cousins showed us a really cool bridge over a really deep canyon.  We threw rocks down there and it took 2.4 seconds for them to hit the bottom.

My favorite things to do at home are to play with LEGOs, draw and play with my remote control car. I hope you have a great winter.  Bye.

October Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  This month has been GREAT!  I had my first swim meet.  In my three events I got 1st, 2nd & 5th.  It was so fun and I got ribbons after.  I love swimming so much.

We also got our pumpkins from Uncle Ryan's pumpkin patch.  Mine weighed 32 lbs!  Great job Uncle Ryan!!!  And when I carved it I carved it as a LEGO Frankenstein.

I was Iron Man for our family Halloween party.  Our family Halloween party was so fun!  Lots of our aunts and uncles and cousins were there and we played a lot of games and made caramel apples.  And our Aunt Amy & Uncle Brian dressed up as zombies.  They were awesome!

For my school Halloween party and for Trick-or-Treating I was Thor.  At my school party we got to throw eyeballs into buckets and we got to feel tons of food that were under sheets and see if they were bones, guts, boogers, etc.  And I went Trick-or-Treating with Brandon and his friend Jace.  We stayed out for hours and got TONS of candy!!!

School has been really fun.  I am in a class with a teacher who loves science.  And I love science.  I love playing LEGOs and drawing too.  I hope you have a great fall.  Bye.

September Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  I am doing really good.  I went to the cabin with my dad and I caught 2 fish when we were fishing up there.  I had a great time up there.  We had candy and watched movies.  It was so fun!!

I like to play soccer in my backyard with my brothers.  It's a fun sport and I love it.

I went up to our Erickson Family Reunion.  I went on a hike with my dad and we found ... bum bum bum ... cactus and lizards!!  It was so awesome.  And we got KFC (aka Kentucky Fried Chicken).  I had a fun time playing football with my dad and brothers up there.  We spend a lot of time playing football.  And at home I like to play football, and at school too.

The Broncos and the Seahawks faced ... yeah!  But the Broncos lost. :(  Our friends the Merrill's came over to watch the game with us.  We watch a lot of NFL in our house!!

Uncle Ryan & Aunt Alisa had a baby.  I got to hold her and it was great.  Her name is Evelyn O'Berry.  

At school in football I score a lot of touchdowns and recover lots of fumbles.  I love playing football at school.  I also like playing LEGOs and playing with my friends Kade & Max.  I hope you have a great fall.  Bye!

August Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  This month we went to the cabin with our friends the Danielson's and then back again for Labor Day weekend.  I like to walk around in the creek there, and ride our dump trucks down our hill. We also like to make a fire and have smores.  It is so fun up there.  We built another layer on our fort. So now we can climb up there.  We are going to have lots of stuff up there.  We are going to build a railing and a ladder so we can climb up.  We also built a pond by our fort.  We captured water skeeters and put them in the pond.

We went to Cowabunga Bay for our orthodontist party.  There are so many slides and fun stuff to do up there.  I had such a great time.  It was right at the end of summer vacation!

And we started school this month.  I want to become a LEGO creator when I am older.  In school I have a great teacher named Normandeau.  She is really nice.  I am in 4th grade this year and my favorite subject is art, like always!

We went to Denver and watched the Denver Broncos game.  We missed one day of school.  It was really fun.  We got to watch the Denver Broncos play.  It was cool even though it was a pre-season game.  I loved it up there and we stayed with our grandpa.  

For fun I like to play LEGOs and Minecraft.  I really like to play LEGOs because they are really fun to build with.

July Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  This year for the 4th of July we had a big fireworks show.  We had sparklers and had a great day. Our cousins, the Sintay's and the Walker's were in town.  It was a great time.  We celebrated and had a big BBQ.

We also went up to Beaver for a camping trip.  There are lots of mountains to climb on and we went fishing. We went up there with our friends, the Dailey's, and lots of our family.  We did BB shooting and rode 4-wheelers up there.  It rained one day so we had to stay under a pop-up tent that evening.  And there I had my own tent that I got to sleep in.  

In the summer we like to go to the swimming pool.  I can go off the high dive and the low dive.  I can do a front flip, a dive, a can-opener and lots of other tricks off the diving boards.  Our dad likes to throw us around in the water and I like to use my goggles and throw my swim darts under water.  I like to go on the slide too.

I went up to Cub Camp this month.  We did archery, BB shooting and lots of other fun stuff.  It was so fun up there.  And at the gift shop I had lots of money to bring up there so I got a sling-shot, a rubber band gun and some candy.  I really like Cub Camp!

We also did you neighborhood bike parade.  We went around the neighborhood a new way and it was longer and we ended in Max's circle and had otter pops.  We rode our bikes around and they were decorated.  I had a card by my wheel so it made a motor cycle noise.  

In the summer I like to do lots of fun things like go to really fun places with my friends Kade & Max.  I like to play LEGOs and play Mario Kart on the Wii.  I really like summer because I can go swimming every day because I have a pass.

June Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  This month I finished reading Mosiah and got a lunch date with mom and got a frosty mug!  It was so fun and I got fries and a burger.

It was also Father's Day this month.  My dad is really fun and I really love him.  

I like spending time with my dad and he is always helping me and I love him so much.

We went up on a hike and found lots of stuff.  We found a water bottle, we found shovels, we found a grill and lots of other cool stuff like that.

I also had my birthday party.  I invited lots of people to it.  I had so much fun playing with my friends and we had a water balloon fight.  I got lots of cool stuff for my birthday like a little toy bow and arrow, I got lots of Pokemon cards and I got some water guns.  

I like playing in my room with my LEGOs and with my Pokemon and I like playing with my friends.  I have a lot of fun playing at the pool.  I can go off the high dive!!

May Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  I had a great time in May.  On Mother's Day for breakfast we ate french toast and sausage and then we went to church and did the Mother's Day program.

I also did my FIRST Pinewood Derby!  It was super fun!  I got to race and I got in 2nd place three times and 1st place one time.  It was super fun!!

At my cabin over Memorial Weekend we shot guns at cans.  I hit none of them but my cousins hit a lot.  And my mom hit more then anyone else.  It was lots of fun!

We also made our own forts.  It was fun too.   We raced our dump trucks down the hill ... not real dump trucks.

We rode 4-wheelers around too.  I drove most of the time.  I like riding around with our cousins and going on trails.

We also had Field Days.  It was really fun.  We played lots of games.  We played the Plumbers Pants where you throw sponges into fake pants that someone is holding up.  We played a game where there are three lines and you would each have a cup and you would pass water to the end of the line.  And we won.  We played where we had to run with a cup and scoop marbles with our toes into a cup and then poor them back into the little pool.

May was also really fun because I played with my brothers and had a really fun time with them.

April Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello!  I am doing good.  In soccer I am on a black team called the Black Scorpions.  We have tied every game except for two, the ones we lost.  I made lots of friends on my team.  I love soccer and I want to keep doing it.

We went up to Lava Hot Springs (in Idaho) for Spring Break.  The hot springs were so warm.  I loved it!!

We had an Easter Egg hunt at my Aunt Melissa's.  It was so fun!  I got lots of eggs with candy in them!  It was so much fun for me and my brothers.

We painted Easter Eggs.  It was lots of fun.  Then we ate some of them in the morning.

On Easter morning I woke up and found a soccer ball in my basket.  I know that Easter is about the Resurrection of Jesus and that he died on the cross and after three days He was resurrected and came back.

We went to the Fun Run.  There was so much rain my soccer game got cancelled.  So we ran the Fun Run in the rain.  I ran the 5K with dad.  I on first place for the boys in my grade.

I am having lots of fun playing soccer with my brothers in my back yard.  I like playing with my LEGOs and playing on the computer and the Wii.  I hope you guys have a great summer.  Bye.

March Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  This month we went to the St. Patrick's Day parade with our friends, the Dailey's.  We got necklaces from somebody.  It was so fun.  The weather was cold too.

In the morning we had green pancakes and in the afternoon we had green cupcakes.

I am doing well in school.  I ended the term this month with three A's and a B+.  I have a lot of fun with my brothers building LEGOs and playing with them. In school my favorite subject is art.  I have a lot of friends at school like: Jacob, Kash, Cannon and Ben.  We like to play at recess together.

February Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello.  How are you doing?  This Valentine's day was so good.  We had heart shaped chocolate pancakes and french toast.

And at school we had our Valentine's party.  We made some crafts and had some of our Valentine's candy. And we also had a great time.

It also was mom's 38th birthday.  We had cake and went to our grandma's house.  It was so fun.  

We also got rid of Chunky because dad isn't a dog fan.  I have been doing really good in school.  I have all A's.  My favorite thing to do is to play with my LEGOs and shoot hoops.  Bye, hope you had a great February.
