Dear Family & Friends,
Hello, how are you? This month was great. We get a lot of snow up here in Woodland Hills so we have to shovel a lot. I am glad though that we aren't getting as much as last year.
Of course Christmas was this month and it was great. We got up at about 7:30 and first we opened our stockings. I got a gift card, candy and some socks. One of my favorite parts of Christmas morning is the stocking.
After we opened our stockings we went to open presents downstairs. I got a bunch of really cool clothes including two flannels. It was a lot of fun this year because this is pretty much the first year where Sam can actually understand Christmas. He had so much fun opening his presents. I got him a dinosaur.
We had family over on Christmas day for a nice brunch. We ate lot's of really good food and afterwards decided to go on a walk. It was a lot of fun and we brought chowder so he could go nuts running around in the snow. It was nice to do something active on Christmas and get out the house. It was also a really nice day on Christmas.
We did cake wars again this year for new years. I made this chocolate cake. Brandon made a mint cake and we tied in the results. Brandon's cake tastes a lot better than mine though. I just made my cake look fancy and that is why I got votes. I stayed up on NYE until 12:30. This year was pretty bad but i'm glad we got to experience it and hopefully 2021 will be better.
I go back to school in two days and it is going to be weird adjusting back from break and the alternate schedule from before. Im glad I get to go see my friends though. Term two is almost over which means I will get to take a bunch of new classes. Im taking math 2 and 3 this year so next school year I won't have to take any math which I am looking forward to. I hope you all have a great 2021 and I hope I didn't speak to soon. Bye.
