February Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how are you? This month our class had our Valentines Day party. It was fantastic. We had my friend Xan's mom helping out. She is so cool. We played heads up where we have a phone with a app that you pick a category ( famous people, actors, etc.) and hold the phone on your forehead so you cannot see it, and you try to guess what something it says on the phone by other peoples actions. We also decorated cookies and did many other fun activities.

It was also my mom's 40th birthday on February, 17. We the kids had pizza while my parents had Cafe Rio. Then we had cupcakes. For one of my moms presents we put board and baton on the wall leading up the stairs. It looks very good.

We got our bikes out from the shed. I got my older brothers bike that was to small for him and he got my dad's bike. I rode a long bike ride with my new bike. I love my new bike.

We went to the Provo City Center temple open house. It looks so much like a castle. The inside is so pretty. My favorite room is the celestial room. It was so beautiful and had a huge crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The temple makes me feel amazing. I love the good spirit that is in the temple.

Our cousins the Walkers came down from Montana and visited. We all went to a BYU volleyball game. BYU beat California state University. They won the first 3 sets so they did not have to play the 4th and 5th sets. Our nice cousins bought us snacks for the game. It was so cool.

In school we are going on a field trip on March 15th to a place called Biztown. It's where our class gets to be adults for the day. We get our own job and work there. On our "breaks" we get to go to actual restaurants in the big room with all the companies in it. I want to the DJ for Biztown. They work in City Hall. There are speakers in each business and The DJ would be the one to make the announcements and get to play the music. My two favorite subjects are spelling and art. I love spring and will especially love this one.
